Finding the right fireplace accessories

Which accessories fit my fireplace?

Most fireplace accessories here are made for a specific model or size, and the title names it. The TRD-30-3 trim kit fits the TRD-30, the SIG-38 liners fit the BI-TRD-38-SIG, and each pedestal display is sized to one fireplace, such as the LF48, RS36 or HOLO-55. Find the model number on your fireplace or its manual, then match it to the accessory before you order.

Pedestal displays work the same way. Amantii makes black pedestal displays, many with storage, for TRD sizes from 26 to 38 inches, the RS36 and RS42, the SYM-50-XT, the LF48 and LF63, and the HOLO 55 and 75. A pedestal lets the fireplace stand on the floor instead of being built into a wall.

The media and log sets are the exception. Fire glass and log kits are sold to change the look of an electric fireplace flame bed, so check the manual to see which media your model can take.

What media can I put in an electric fireplace?

Amantii sells reflective fire glass in 5 lb bags, in colors from clear and champagne to charcoal, ocean blue and black small bead. There are log and media kits in birch, oak, driftwood, split log and a 19-piece Timberlux real wood set, plus log chips and a six-piece LED log set that glows from inside. The Diamond media kits mix glass nuggets and acrylic pieces for a modern look.

Do I need a trim kit, liner or surround?

A trim kit closes the gap around an insert, and Amantii offers three-sided and four-sided kits for its TRD traditional sizes. Liners change the interior of a firebox: the SIG-38 sets come in black glass, used brick red, wenge brown and dark brown. For Sierra Flame gas models, the Austin and Stanford clean-face surrounds add a black face with a safety barrier.
