Gas Fire Pits
Gas Fire Pits
Gas fire pits use an open bowl or basin rather than a table surface, so heat radiates evenly to a surrounding circle of seating. They light instantly, produce no smoke or embers, and need no ash cleanup.
Where they can go
Because there are no embers, gas pits are permitted in many places where wood burning is restricted — decks, poolside areas and communities with burn bans. Confirm your local code.
Media
Lava rock or fire glass sits over the burner to spread the flame and shield the burner assembly. Do not substitute landscaping stone, which can trap moisture and fracture.
